Awareness programme on Bharat Nirman organised

Udhampur, Sep 13: The Udhampur Field unit of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India today organized an awareness programme on various components of Bharat Nirman at J K Public School, Omara here.
On the occasion, a seminar highlighting the importance of Aadhar (the Unique Identity), Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and other related schemes was organized. Six students besides intellectuals expressed their views on the subject.
Shri Gurnam Singh, In-Charge Field Publicity Unit, Udhampur, provided elaborated information about Bharat Nirman with special emphasis on its beneficial components like Aadhar and DBT.
Shri Maninder Singh, Managing Director of the Institute, who presided over the function, appreciated the role of organizers for conducting such programmes.
The function concluded with prize distribution ceremony honouring the   participants.
